New Phishing Scam

The National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) has issued an alert warning that a phishing scam is circulating by individuals claiming to be representatives of the Association. The e-mail claims the accountholder has made an unauthorized automated clearing house (ACH) transaction that has been rejected by NACHA. The organization does not process ACH transactions that flow to and from organizations and financial institutions. NACHA warned recipients not to open the link included in the e-mail and recommends using antivirus programs. To view a sample of the scam e-mail and for more detailed information, click here.

SELCCU Mini-Grants 2010

SELCCU’s Mini-Grant program accepts grant requests for classroom projects from K-12 educators in Lorain County. This is the first year of our Mini-Grant program and is another symbol of SELCCU’s intention to reach out to our communities and partner with schools in a meaningful way.

Application deadline is Sept. 15, 2010.
The Mini-Grants will be awarded in October 2010.
