Overall, our company can be characterized as a service-oriented business, which has the ability to offer Credit Union members objective financial planning services and also offer alternative, uninsured investment products such as mutual funds and annuities.

Background
For many years members were unable to utilize the credit union to obtain information regarding retirement, investments, estate planning or overall financial planning strategies.

Consequently, members attempted to solve and plan alone. They either sought advice from "one product serves all" salesmen, or did nothing at all. Many of these advisors attempted to control all of the member's assets.

The condition of the industry today is such that Member Plus CUSO, Inc. has positioned itself within the Credit Union to find out your needs and goals and make recommendations that fit your personal financial needs.

Product Strategy / Current Product
Member Plus CUSO, Inc. offers investment products made available through its agreement with Advantage Financial Services Group and National Planning Corporation, which is a Broker/Dealer, and member of Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) & Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC).

This particular arrangement allows Credit Union members access to a registered Investment Representative with Advantage Financial here at the Credit Union. Therefore, they have alternative investment options such as mutual funds and annuities. These products are neither federally nor state insured, are not insured by the FDIC or NCUA or any other Federal Government Agency, have no financial institution guarantee, are not obligations of the Credit Union, are not guaranteed, and involve investment risks including the possible loss of principal.
